How do you explain gaming/raiding to your non-gamer friends and family?

Unless we’re very lucky, it’s not likely we’ll be surrounded by gamers 24/7. There always comes a time when someone who doesn’t game asks you about what it is you do. How do you explain gaming/raiding/playing a heck of a lot a computer games to a non-gamer friend or family member?
